Dear Neighbors,
Gate District East will be celebrating 45 years in existence in 2023. Any organization in existence this long has seen much change over its history and knows that in order to continue growing, more change is inevitable and necessary.
The Board of Gate District East Association began an exploratory process in 2019 to review the organization's structure, the assessment process, and understand the history so we could begin imagining what the next 45 years look like and how we can best serve the residents of GDE.
We want your input and ideas as we work to create the future of Gate District East. Therefore, we invite you to attend one of the town hall sessions we have coming up to ask questions and share your input. Please join us.
Wednesday, October 26th - 7-9pm - virtual on Zoom - register HERE
Saturday, October 29th - 1-3pm - in-person at Beloved Community United Methodist Church at 3115 Park Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63104
If you’re unable to join one of these sessions, you’re welcome to email gatedistricteast@gmail.com or send your input to: Gate District East, PO Box 2021, St. Louis, MO 63158. Please understand we’re a volunteer board so while your messages are appreciated, our response may be slow.
After the town halls are held, we will come back to the neighborhood with a strategic plan, with a goal of implementation in 2023. Stay tuned for meeting information to hear more about that.
In the meantime, we have set the assessment for 2022 at $0.00 as we work out the strategic plan. Therefore, this letter will serve as your annual assessment letter and you will not receive a separate notice from Treestone Properties FKA Grier Group.
Thank you for being part of our great neighborhood. I hope to see you at an upcoming town hall session.
All the best,
Dan Iadevito | President
